The Churchill Tree, Alderley Park, Cheshire, England
Set in the heart of a leafy Cheshire suburb, the Churchill Tree pub and restaurant at Bruntwood SciTech’s Alderley Park, has recently opened its doors after a painstaking restoration.PS Interiors, working with Bridge Architects, wanted to reflect the feel and ambience of the rich past with furniture that would add to the warm atmosphere.
We have showcased a selection of the furniture items selected by Bridge Architects below. Please note that the upholstered items can be upholstered in any fabric or leather and any show wood can be stained to the required wood colour.
Set inside the grade-II listed Tenants’ Hall; the building is steeped in history. Built in 1904, for the 4th Lord Stanley it was originally used as a ballroom for the estate tenants Christmas party. In 1914 the hall was used as a hospital for wounded soldiers. And Winston Churchill stayed on the country estate as a child and famously planted the now protected sweet chestnut tree.
